How to Make a Graffiti Crown
Like in the monarchy, crowns equal status in the world of graffiti. If you're a king of your craft, the best artist out there, you might consider incorporating a crown into your graffiti designs. Crowns are a universal and easily recognizable symbol for royalty. Once you have mastered the art of drawing graffiti crowns, you can use it as a big, bold way to punctuate your artwork.
Things You'll Need
- pencil
- paper or sketch book
- black marker
- eraser
- black spray paint
- "skinny" spray caps

Use a pencil to draw a horizontal oval on paper or in your sketch book.

Draw a line through the center of the oval. This will be the front edge of the crown.

Draw a short line upward at a 90-degree angle from the left side of the front edge of the crown. Continue with at least three peaks that run parallel to the front edge and connect the last peak at a 90-degree angle to the right side of the front edge of the crown.

Draw a small circle on the top of each peak.

Shade in the remaining oval underneath the front edge of the crown. This is the inside of the crown.

Outline the crown with a black marker, and erase any pencil lines you can see.

Erase any visible pencil lines.

Use a can of black spray paint with a skinny nozzle to recreate the crown in your larger graffiti artwork.

Tips & Warnings
Only apply graffiti to legal areas, such as a notebook or as part of a commissioned mural.
Only use spray paint outdoors or in a ventilated area, and use a gas mask to filter the chemical fumes.
