How to Post Something on Yahoo!

Yahoo! Pulse is a service that allows you to socially network and connect with your online friends using your Yahoo! ID. Yahoo! Pulse gives users the ability to post updates, add photos and write blogs which they can then share with connected friends. Additionally you can link other major social networking websites to your Yahoo! Pulse profile, making Yahoo! Pulse a comprehensive social networking solution. If you wish to post an update to your Yahoo! Pulse account, you can do so easily from your Yahoo! Pulse homepage.

Instructions

1. Launch your favorite Web browser and visit pulse.yahoo.com.

2. Click the yellow "Check it out" button then enter your Yahoo! ID and account password into the available fields. Click "Sign In."

3. Click within the "Have something to share" box to the right of your profile picture and type in your post. Your message can contain up to 255 characters.

4. Click the "Share" button below the share box to post the update to Yahoo! Pulse.

Tips & Warnings

• Place an optional check-mark next to the "Facebook" icon or "Twitter" icon below the share box to also share the update on Facebook and Twitter, if you have linked your Yahoo! Pulse account with your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

• Refrain from posting personal, abusive or illegal information online.
