How to Create RSS From Facebook Links

There is no need to create a RSS feed from Facebook links, since this feature is automatically created by the social network. You just need to know where to look to retrieve the RSS feed URL. When you know the RSS link you can subscribe to the Facebook links via your favorite RSS reader, like Google Reader, FeedDemon, NetNetWire or NewsGator.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to Facebook and sign into your account as usual.

    • 2

Go to the left sidebar and click for the "Links" option. If you do not see it, then click the "More" link to expand the list of applications.

    • 3

Right-click the "My Friends' Links" link from the "Subscribe to Links" section. Select "Copy link address" from the drop-down menu. By default, "My Friends' Links" displays on the page, but you change this to links you share.

    • 4

Go to your feed reader, like Google Reader or FeedDemon. Paste the link you copied in Step 3 into the subscription form and subscribe to it.

    • 5

Click the "My Links" from the left sidebar under the "Browse Recent Links" section. Right-click the "My Links" link under the "Subscribe to Links" section and then choose "Copy link address."

    • 6

Go to your RSS feed reader and paste the Facebook link URL from Step 5 into the subscription form. You should now have the most recently shared links from your Facebook Wall and friends.
