Goo can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Borax is a very important ingredient in some cosmetics, detergents and many other products. It is a naturally occurring compound found in areas of the world such as California and Romania. Although not considered directly toxic, exposure to borax can cause various health problems such as respiratory issues and skin irritation. A popular children's project involving borax is called "goo", and is similar to popular toys on the market. However, goo can also be made without borax to avoid the risk of irritation.
