How to Have Online Multi-Players in "Demon's Souls"
"Demon's Souls" is an action-adventure role-playing game with medieval elements. Like most RPGs, you choose one of several classes and undertake quests to grow more powerful. "Demon's Souls" is unique in its online game-play. When you participate in normal online multi-player, you do not actually play alongside other characters. Instead, you are shown glimpses of other players who have recently traversed the same area. These glimpses reveal hidden traps or passages. However, you can also arrange for up to two other players to join you in one level in a traditional co-op.

Online Multi-Player

Start the game and log into your PlayStation Network account when prompted. You are automatically connected to online multi-player.

Start a level. Press "Select" to pull up the message menu. Create a message from the predesignated list of words for other players. Read messages left by other players by clicking on them in the level.

Touch nearby bloodstains to view the death of other players in the area. A short replay animation shows you how their character died.
Co-Op Multi-Player

Talk to the Maiden in Black in the Nexus after defeating Level 1-1. She gives you the Blue Eye Stone. The Blue Eye Stone allows you to join other players in a co-op mode.

Start a level and place the Blue Eye Stone near the beginning. Other players see a glowing marker with your statistics and level. They click the marker to summon you to their world.

Find a blue marker and summon a player if you wish to play in your own world. You may summon up to two other players.
