How to Edit a Zen Cart Footer thumbnail
You can edit your Zen Cart footer by editing its PHP file in your template's directory.

Zen Cart is an online store management system created in 2003 as an offshoot of the osCommerce system. It is based in the PHP programming language, and allows you to manage your store's inventory, prices, shipping costs, sales and all other aspects of your storefront through its administration area. Zen Cart operates via a template system, using PHP to make incorporation of common elements of your store easier to manage. You can edit elements of your store, such as the footer, simply by editing the PHP file of the template.

Instructions

    • 1

Access your Zen Cart file structure by logging into your website's directory via FTP.

    • 2

Access the root directory of your Zen Cart installation and download the file located at:

      /includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_header.php

    • 3

Make any edits necessary to the tpl_header.php file in your preferred text editor.

    • 4

Save and publish your tpl_header.php file, overwriting the existing one. You have now successfully edited your Zen Cart footer.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are using a custom made template, substitute the name of the directory in which it is installed for "template_default" in Step 2.
