How to Fix a Frozen Screen on the Sansa Fuze

A frozen screen on your Sansa Fuze audio player is often caused by an incompatible audio file, which causes the media player to lock up when attempting to play the file. When the screen is frozen, the Fuze won't respond to commands and must be reset to clear the device's memory. Once cleared, the Fuze will return to normal, but will lock up again if the incompatible audio track is opened on the device. If the lockup issue continues with numerous songs, the problem may be due to an error with the device's software, which requires a factory reset to resolve the problem.
