Instructions

    • 1

Lay 2 yards of green felt out flat. Fold the felt in half lengthwise.

    • 2

Cut a half circle in the center of the fold on your green felt. This is the neck hole where you will put your head.

    • 3

Cut three circles that are about 3 inches in diameter. Glue the three circles to the front of the tunic you created. Put them in a vertical row to make them look like buttons.

    • 4

Wear a pair of tights, shorts and a turtleneck. The clothing should be either green or red to go with the elf theme. Put your head through the hole you cut in the felt and let one panel of fabric fall to the front and the other to the back.

    • 5

Cinch the waist of your newly made tunic with a long piece of cord. Tie the cord in a knot and let the excess hang.

    • 6

Cut leaves from the green felt to represent holly. Cut red circles for the holly berries. Cut the brim off an old black baseball cap. Glue the holly to the corner edge of the black hat with fabric glue. Secure that hat to your head with bobby pins.

    • 7

Glue jingle bells to a pair of black shoes or boots with a glue gun. Glue another pair of bells to the hat you made.
