Plug your computer into the WRT310N router through an Ethernet cable.

Open your Internet browser and go to the "Linksys Support" page.

Click on the "Version 2.0" icon from the drop-down menu on the screen.

Click on the firmware download for your operating system from the download links. Wait for the firmware to download to your desktop. This should take about 20 seconds.

Click on the installer and click "I Accept" from the software window.
