How to Change Verizon BlackBerry Email Settings

When you change the email account password or a server setting on an email address in your Verizon Blackberry, it can cause communication errors with the server. To continue receiving your email on the phone, access the account information and change the configuration settings to reflect the proper information. Keep your email accounts at your fingertips with the Blackberry email settings menu.

Instructions

1. Scroll to the "Email Setup" icon and press the trackball. Choose "Email Accounts."

2. Highlight the account you want to modify in the email account list. Press the trackball to select it.

3. Select "Edit Account" in the menu that appears and push the trackball. Scroll the trackball or your navigation pad to the email settings you want to edit on the account. Press the trackball to enter the "Edit" mode for the setting.

4. Change the data in the input field. Press the trackball to select "Save."

5. Push your Blackberry button to return to the home screen when you have saved your final changes.
