How to Make a Cardboard Die
Cardboard dice are easy to make and can be used for classroom games as well as decorations for a casino-themed party. This craft is inexpensive and can be completed in less than an hour. The dimensions of the die can be adjusted to suit its function or enlarged within the size restraints of the cardboard box selected for the activity. Children can build a cardboard die with minor adult supervision. Making dice can be a fun family or classroom project.

1
Cut a cardboard box along one seam to create a flat surface.
-
2
Draw a rectangle across the cardboard 20 inches long and 5 inches wide with a pencil. Divide the rectangle into four 5-inch squares. On each side of the third square, draw one 5-inch by 5-inch square sharing a common edge with the third square. This should give you a frame that resembles a lower-case "T." Cut out the T-shape using a box cutter or scissors.
