How to Post to Facebook From a Cell Phone
If you own an iPhone or other smartphone with a Facebook application, accessing your account on the social networking site is quite easy. However, you can use any cell phone to update Facebook as long as you have text messaging capabilities. Once you activate mobile texts via Facebook on your computer, use the service to send status updates, messages or wall posts from anywhere. While Facebook does not charge you for text messages, your mobile carrier may charge a fee for sending them.

1
Click on the "Account" link in the top right corner of any Facebook screen and select "Account Settings" from the menu.
-
2
Go to the "Mobile" tab and click on "Register for Facebook Text Messages." Choose your country and mobile carrier from the drop-down menus and click "Next." Text the letter "F" to the number provided by Facebook and wait to receive a confirmation code on your phone. Once received, enter the code in the labeled field and click "Next" to confirm your phone number.
