How to Make Things Bigger on Facebook Notes

Facebook's note feature gives you more freedom and flexibility when sharing something with your friends. Not only can you tag your friends in Facebook notes -- which you can't do in wall posts -- you can also use a limited amount of HTML to adjust the appearance. This includes HTML to make specific words or sentences bigger than others.

Instructions

    • 1

      Sign into Facebook and click on "Profile," then click "Notes."

    • 2

      Click on "Write a Note." If you want to edit an already published note, click on "Edit" next to the note.

    • 3

      Write your note as usual until you arrive at the text you want to make bigger.

    • 4

      Type the following HTML code prior the starting the larger text:

      <big>

    • 5

      Move to the end of the last word you want to be large. Type the following code after it:

      </big>

    • 6

      Click "Publish" to publish the note or click "Preview" to preview it first.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also use heading tags to make specific text large and bold. To make headings, use substitute "h1" for "big" in the HTML code. You can also use "h2" or "h3," which are smaller headings.
