How Do I Know I Caught a Little Sister in "BioShock"?
A big part of "BioShock" is the hunt for Little Sisters. When you catch one, you can either harvest her or rescue her to retrieve Adam, a genetic currency used to upgrade your abilities. The main problem Little Sisters present are their guardians, the Big Daddies. These are giant enemies that take a lot of damage to kill. Once the Big Daddy guardian has been defeated, the Little Sister will cry over the body. This is your opportunity to catch her. The pause menu details how many you have caught in your current area.

Tips & Warnings
If you harvest a little sister you will get more Adam, but the Little Sister will die and this will count as an evil action. Rescue a Little Sister and you get less Adam initially, but it is a good action. Your actions towards the Little Sisters determine which game ending you receive.
Big Daddies are most vulnerable to shock-based attacks.
