How to Draw a Harmonica
Whether presenting still life sketches or depicting active events, musical instrument drawings, such as the harmonica, add depth to your artistic skills. You can draw a harmonica, like anything, from any number of different angles. One way to draw a harmonica is from the perspective of looking straight down the harmonica into the holes.

1
Draw a long narrow rectangle, with the long sides of the rectangle parallel with the top and bottom of the page.
-
2
Draw two smaller rectangles centered on the top and bottom of the larger rectangle. These rectangles should be about half the height of the larger rectangle, but only slightly smaller in length.
-
-
3
Draw and shade in 10 small rectangles along the center of the middle, larger rectangle. There should be an equal amount of space between each of the 10 small rectangles. They should be within the points of where the outer rectangles connect with the middle rectangle.
-
4
Shade the middle rectangle very subtly, with many light strokes, to differentiate it from the outer rectangles. Using pencil for this should give the middle rectangle a light grey appearance while leaving the outer rectangles of the harmonica white. To create the appearance of a light source, shade one side of the rectangle more darkly than the other, gradually tapering to the the lightest shading.
