How to Shear Black Sheep in "RuneScape"
The online role-playing game "RuneScape" offers players many activities, including games, distractions and diversions, quests and mini-quests. A mini-quest is a small group of interrelated tasks that you can complete to unlock certain abilities and receive rewards, such as skills, experience and items. Although similar to a standard quest, mini-quests are often much shorter than a quest and do not wield quest points. To shear black sheep and unlock the ability to shear white sheep, complete Sheep Shearer mini-quest.

Travel to Lumbridge and walk to the Sheep Pen, north of the Lumbridge Castle.

Enter the house and speak to Farmer Fred.

Explain to Farmer Fred that you are looking for a quest, and he requests that you shear 20 black sheep and spin the wool into balls.

Pick up the shears on the table and exit the house.

Enter the fenced area, east of the house.

Click a black sheep to shear its wool. Sometimes, the sheep will run away from you. Shear black sheep until you receive 20 pieces of Black Wool.

Exit the fenced area and walk south to the Lumbridge Castle.

Climb the stairs and enter the room with the spinning wheel.

Click the spinning wheel and your character spins 20 Balls of Black Wool.

Return to Farmer Fred and give him the balls of wool to complete the quest.

Tips & Warnings
You can only shear black sheep during the mini-quest.
After the mini-quest, Farmer Fred allows you to shear white sheep.
