How to Make a Tiara Centerpiece

Whether celebrating a sweet 16, a quinceanera or a wedding, every girl can feel like a princess -- decorating the party with accents like table centerpieces helps make it happen. Since princess tiaras are relatively inexpensive and readily available at party, dress and wedding stores, you can easily turn them into sparkly centerpieces and adorn every table with a bit of princess style. With the right accents, your tiara centerpieces will shine and pop from across the room.

Things You'll Need

  • Tiara
  • Small square mirror
  • Tea light candles
  • Flower petals
  • Tulle or colored fabric
  • Place a small square mirror in the center of the table. It should be big enough to contain the tiara while leaving a few inches of empty space on all sides of it.

  • Snap the teeth off the ends of your tiara. Tiaras usually have small teeth on the ends to clip into hair -- since they are plastic, you can easily snap them off.

  • Wrap tulle or colored fabric tightly around where the teeth were to hide the break. Tuck it into itself to hold it in place.

  • Place a few tea light candles on the mirror to illuminate the tiara. The mirror and the tiara will reflect the light.

  • Scatter flower petals, like princess pink rose petals, across the mirror.
