How to Install a Motorola Signal Booster 484095-001-00 Bi-Directional RF Amplifier

A signal booster can improve TV reception.

The Motorola 484095-001-00 is a broadband signal amplifier used for boosting television signals and improving signal quality. There are no setup issues with the amplifier. It's strictly a plug-and-play operation. Just make you have an AC power source close to where the booster is installed.

• Small adjustable wrench

Instructions

1. Loosen and remove the coaxial cable connected to your television's cable input by twisting the nut on the connector to the left and pulling the cable out. If the nut is too tight to turn by hand, use a small adjustable wrench.

2. Connect the end of the cable in Step 1 to the "Signal Input" jack on the amplifier. Turn the nut to the right to tighten the connector.

3. Connect one end of one of the cables supplied with the booster to the "Signal Output" jack of the booster. Connect the other end to the television's cable input.

4. Connect one end of the second cable supplied with the booster to the "Power 12Vdc" jack on the booster. Connect the other end to the jack on the AC adapter supplied with the booster. Plug the adapter into a power strip or wall outlet.
