Instructions

    • 1

Place the dollar bill on a flat surface with George Washington's picture facing up.

    • 2

Create a line along the center of the bill by folding it in half horizontally, pressing to make a crease and unfolding it again.

    • 3

Fold the top left corner in so that the point lines up with the center crease. Ensure the fold passes evenly through the bottom left corner.

    • 4

Move the bottom left corner toward the top of the bill. The left is now lined up with the top side of the dollar. Fold it in place.

    • 5

Connect the top left corner to the bottom right corner, ensuring that the left side of the bill lines up evenly with the bottom side. Fold it in place.

    • 6

Fold the top right corner toward the left side of the bill. Now your dollar bill is in the shape of a triangle.

    • 7

Turn the bill so that the right side of the triangle becomes the bottom side. Unfold the small flap and place it flush on the flat surface as a base for your pyramid.

    • 8

Unfold the bottom left side of the triangle so that it lines up with the right edge of the base flap. Pull the bottom left corner of this triangle outward and rest it next to the left side of the folded bill to reveal your pyramid.
