How to Date Carmen in "GTA 4"
In Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto IV" for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows, you can maintain relationships with a number of non-player characters. These characters are friends, business associates, or romantic interests of Niko's. Completing activities with them and generally pleasing them increases their "Like" statistic. With several of the characters, such as Carmen Ortiz, raising the "Like" figure to a certain level allows you to call them up for certain benefits and bonuses. Carmen is a nurse; get her to like you and you can call her up for a health boost.

Complete the mission "Out of The Closet" for Brucie Kibbutz. Brucie and Roman have created an online dating profile for Niko in order to lure out a man they want dead. After the mission is complete, you can return to the Internet cafe and use the profile to meet women.

Head to the nearest Internet cafe and locate a free computer. Press the "Action" button to sit down and log in. Click on the home page link for "Love-Meet.com" and select "Meet Women." Locate Carmen's profile. All the women use screen names, Carmen's is "SoBoHoe." Send her a message and she will respond by calling Niko for a date.

Find an appropriate car. The success of your date depends on accommodating your date's likes and dislikes. Carmen likes Sultans, Dukes, Stallions, FXTs and Contenders, essentially anything expensive and flashy. She'll be displeased if you arrive in a Marbella, Dillettante, Minivan, Stratum or Merit.

Dress for your date by heading to your apartment to change, or to a clothing store to purchase a new outfit. Carmen will appreciate clothes from Modo or Perseus, but she will mock you if you wear anything from the Russian import shop in Broker. She also dislikes hats or glasses of any kind.

Pick Carmen up at her apartment just off Star Junction in Algonquin. Choose a location for your date, Carmen favors high-end bars and clubs, so these will have the most positive effect on your "Like" statistic. Head to Comrade's, Jerkov's, Lucky Winkles, Club Liberty or The Steinway Beer Garden to earn the top rewards. She will be displeased if you take her to The Superstar Cafe or any fast-food eatery. Once the "Carmen Like" statistic in your pause menu reaches 75 percent, you will be able to call Carmen for a health boost when in a tight spot.
