How to Put Morse Code Keys on My MFJ-9420
Sending Morse code over an MFJ-9240 20-meter transceiver requires you to install a Morse code key. This means you must install an MFJ-415 CW Adapter, which lest you replace the voice microphone with a telegrapher's key. Making the connections is no more difficult than making the connection for any other plug-and-play device, such as a computer keyboard.

When the adapter is in place, push the pins on the bottom of the adapter into the pin headers on the transceiver.
