How to Put YouTube Songs on Microsoft PowerPoints
Even an interesting Microsoft PowerPoint presentation might seem dull if there's nothing to break up slide after slide of text and graphics. One way of jazzing up a PowerPoint presentation and grabbing the attention of your audience is to include a video or movie clip. To add a video of a song from the YouTube online video-sharing website, copy the video clip's embed code and insert it into PowerPoint using the program's "Media" feature.

Launch Microsoft PowerPoint.

Click the "File" tab and then click "Open" to open an existing PowerPoint presentation or click "New" to create a new presentation.

Click the slide on which you want to add the YouTube video clip.

Launch your computer's Web browser and navigate to YouTube. Find the video clip of the song that you want to add to the PowerPoint presentation.

Click the "Share" button below the video clip and then click "Embed."

Click the "Use Old Embed Code" check box to select this option.

Select your preferred video display size and format by clicking the check boxes beside the relevant options. You can choose to display high-definition video in a range of sizes to suit the layout of your PowerPoint presentation slide.

Highlight and copy the embed code. Return to PowerPoint to add the video clip.

Click the "Insert" tab in the main PowerPoint menu.

Click the arrow icon under "Video" in the "Media" group. Click "Video From Web Site."

Paste the embed code into the "Video From Web Site" dialog box and then click "Insert." This adds the YouTube music video clip to the PowerPoint presentation slide.

If you can't find an embed code under the YouTube video clip, it means the uploader has not allowed sharing.
Always get permission from the owner of the content before using a music video in a PowerPoint presentation.
