How to Track Stuff From Amazon
Tracking your Amazon order lets you know when your package will arrive, rather than spending your days waiting for the delivery truck. The majority of Amazon orders are shipped with tracking numbers, which can keep you informed about your package's progress. Click the "Your Account" link located at the top of Amazon's main Web page.

Enter your account credentials and click the "Sign In" button. Your Amazon log-in consists of your email address and password chosen during your account registration process. If the "You are signed in as" text box appears on the screen, you are already signed in to your account and do not need to enter your account credentials.

Click the "Your Orders" icon located in the "Orders" section of the "Your Account" page.

Select the shipment you wish to track from a list of your recent orders. The default order search parameters are for purchases made in the last 30 days. Click the "Date" drop down menu to adjust the date range, if necessary.

Click the "Track package" icon located next to the shipment you wish to track. An abbreviated tracking detail box will appear.

Click "See Complete Tracking History" to obtain a detailed history of the shipment's location.

Tips & Warnings
Packages can also be tracked via text message by signing up for Amazon's Text Trace service.
Not all Amazon shipments are trackable. The order must be shipped with a carrier that provides a specific tracking number to trace the package's location.
