How to Follow a Thread in a 4Chan

A big website with millions of unique visitors every month, 4chan, is a well-known beyond its own chat rooms and indeed across the Internet as a whole. Despite its fame and large fan base, however, its navigability is prone to provide confusion to newcomers, as threads disappear into cyberspace. There are, however, ways to get around this, which could alleviate some of the problems experienced by newcomers when posting in threads on the page; the problem normally comes from being brought to the main page, which means there is a small chances of locating the thread again.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the thread 4Chan which you wish to follow. Enter it. As you are now inside the thread, you could be said to be following it.

    • 2

Write the message which you intend to post in the thread.

    • 3

Write "noko" --- without the " --- in email slot. Normally, you would be brought back to the main page once you posted the message; you would in this scenario be pretty much guaranteed not to find the thread again due to the massive amounts of posts being made every few seconds. However, when you write "noko" in the email slot, you will be automatically taken back to the thread after your message has been posted. You are now able to follow your thread.
