Use TwitterGrader at twittergrader.com. You only need to type in your Twitter user name to use this free service, as they do not ask for your password. TwitterGrader ranks you according to your perceived influence on Twitter, which includes factors such as the number of people you follow, the number of people following you, the grading of your followers and the frequency of your updates. You can compare your progress by looking at other Twitter users who opened their accounts on the same day as you and click on your location on your results page to view rankings of Twitter users in your area.

Search WeFollow.com. This ranking website is a Twitter directory that lists and categorizes profiles. Your placing on the list depends on how many followers you have and how influential you are on Twitter. As well as searching for popular users by category -- for example, "Celebrity" or "Social Media" -- you can search using your hometown and view a list of local Twitter accounts in ranking order. To rank, you will need to add your blog to the WeFollow directory, which you can do by tweeting them using "@wefollow" or by adding their application to your Twitter account.

Although you can rank people in your local area using the website, you cannot search by location without clicking on the relevant link in the profile of a celebrity who is in the same area as you. The website might not be helpful if you are searching for smaller locations, but rankings are updated several times per day to maintain accuracy.
