Sign in to your LinkedIn account at LinkedIn.com.

Hover over the "Profile" entry in the LinkedIn menu bar at the top of the screen. This displays a drop-down menu. Click "Edit Profile."

Click the "Edit" link next to the position that you want to edit.

Make changes to the title of your position, the time period in which you worked at the position, or the description of the job. When finished, click the "Update" button.
