How to Tie a Towel Into a Diaper
Any parent knows that babies go through a lot of diapers and will likely find that knowing how to fold a towel into a diaper will be helpful at some point in their child's life. There are many ways to go about folding a towel into a diaper. Depending on the size of your towel, you may find that some folds are more useful than others.
Instructions
-
Square Fold
-
1
Fold the towel in half, width-wise with the crease on the bottom.
-
2
Wrap your thumb and index finger around the towel a little more than half way down and pinch the fabric inward so that the towel takes on a kind of hourglass shape.
-
-
3
Slide the baby between the front and the back so the crease comes between your baby's legs.
-
4
Bring the corners together.
-
5
Fold each corner over until it is tight against your baby.
-
6
Pin each side with diaper pins.
Triangle Fold
-
7
Fold the towel diagonally so that it forms a triangle.
-
8
Fold the creased end down about an inch length-wise once and lay the towel down with the long end on top.
-
9
Lay your baby on the towel so the center point of the triangle is between his leg.
-
10
Pull the center point of the triangle between the baby's legs and hold it up at its belly.
-
11
Pull each corner of the folded long end around the baby's waist so that all three corners of the triangle meet at the baby's belly.
-
12
Pin the towel with a diaper pin.
