How to Fix Your Icon on Facebook
When browsing the Facebook website, your Facebook profile image is scaled down and your presence on the site is represented by a square icon. This icon, called a thumbnail, is automatically generated by Facebook but can cut your face out of the picture in some instances. You can fix the thumbnail image from the Facebook profile picture settings page so that the square thumbnail shows the part of your profile picture you want it to.
