How to Make a Blogspot

Blogspot is the URL address associated with Google's Blogger service. Google provides free domains to their users to create blogs for publication on the website. These blogs come with a custom interface to allow you to theme your blog to fit the subject of your blog. You can also add custom widgets, HTML/CSS and gadgets to make your blog interactive. In order to make a Blogspot, you need to sign up for a Blogger blog.

Instructions

1. Go to the Blogger website. Log in with your Google username and account. If you don't have one, you can create one by clicking on the "Get Started" link. You need to provide an email address, password, display name, gender, birthday, the CAPTCHA information and accept the terms of service. Click the "Continue" button.

2. Click the "Create Your Blog Now" button.

3. Enter a name in the "Blog Title" box.

4. Enter a blog URL address. Click the "Check Availability" link to make sure that URL is available. Click the "Continue" button.

5. Choose a starter template by clicking on the one you want. Click the "Continue" button. You have just made your own Blogspot blog. Click the "Start Blogging" button to continue designing your blog and upload new blog posts.
