How to Connect an X125 All-in-One Printer
Lexmark's X125 printer is an all-in-one small office device that you can use to scan images, send faxes and print documents. The X125 comes with everything that you need to connect the machine to your computer and to utility outlets. Lexmark recommends that you connect your X125's power, telephone and USB cables in a specific order to ensure proper installation and device function.

Connect the power cord to the input jack located at the bottom-left of the printer's back side. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

Extend the paper entry and exit trays and load paper into the entry tray.

Open the cartridge access door located on top of the printer.

Remove the sticker and tape from your ink cartridges; then insert the ink cartridges into the two slots until they snap into place.

Close the cartridge access door. The printer will print an alignment page.

Type the two-digit number that is located underneath the best-aligned lines on the alignment page into the X125's keypad, then press the green "Start" key.

Plug the telephone cord into the telephone jack located on the bottom-right of the printer. Plug the other side of the cord into a wall jack.

Connect the USB cable into the printer's USB jack, which is located at the upper-right corner of the printer's back side. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer.

Click the "Cancel" button on your computer if a driver installation windows appears.

Insert the X125 software CD into your computer's CD drive. The Lexmark X125 software installation wizard will automatically initiate.

Follow the on-screen prompts to install the X125's printer drivers and printer software to your computer.
