How to Cure Nightcrawlers
Nightcrawlers are used by anglers to attract and catch a variety of game fish. From blue gill and trout to bass, nightcrawlers are a go-to bait for many fishermen. Cures are used by some anglers to infuse baits and lures with scents such as salt, anise and garlic. Although nightcrawlers cannot be cured in the same manner as a soft-plastic bait or salmon egg, it is possible to gain the benefits of the scents without harming the night crawlers.

Tips & Warnings
Treat or cure only one nightcrawler at a time as it is prepared for use. Do not pour garlic oil into a bait container as the oil will potentially kill the nightcrawlers before they can be used as bait.
