How to Switch to New Facebook

Since its creation in 2004, Facebook has greatly changed both its layout and its features. One major change that Facebook has implemented is the ability to switch to a new profile, which comes with a new layout and new messaging features. Facebook users have the ability to decide whether they want to switch to the new version of Facebook. If you've decided that you would like to make the switch, you'll find that doing so is easy.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account.

2. Find for the button at the top right of the browser that says "Get the New Profile."

3. Click this button to switch to the new version of Facebook.

4. Click "Yes" when asked if you are sure you want to update. Your Facebook profile is now updated.

Tips & Warnings

• Once you switch to the new version of Facebook, you can't switch back. While many users like the new version of Facebook as profiles are more concise and easier to view, some do not because they prefer the old Facebook style.
