How to Access Google Voice From a Payphone

You can use a payphone to check your Google Voice voice mail messages.

Google Voice is a phone management system that allows you to use one number to receive calls on all of your phones, including mobile phones, work phones and home phones. Google Voice also provides voice mail that you can access from anywhere, including a pay phone. For example, if you are on your way home from work and your cellphone is out of power, you can stop at a payphone and check for voice mail using your Google Voice number.

Instructions

1. Pick up the payphone's receiver.

2. Deposit the required amount of coins in the coin slot.

3. Dial your Google Voice number on the payphone's keypad.

4. Press the "*" key as your voice mail greeting is playing.

5. Dial your four-digit PIN to access your Google Voice voice mail.
