How to Organize by Year in Picasa

How to Organize by Year in Picasa thumbnail
You can sort pictures by when they were created or changed in Picasa.

Picasa is a free application for your computer and an online service from Google for working with photos. When you use Picasa to manage your photos, you might want to browse through them according to the year you took them, instead of by their name or size. For example, if while using the desktop Picasa application, you want to see pictures that you took during vacations over the years, you organize the images by date. Then you can quickly scan for the period you take your vacation each year. You can sort Picasa Web albums by the album date or the date you uploaded them.
