How to Color Pasta for Crafts
Pasta isn't just for dinner: Kids will have a blast using colored pasta for their crafts. After dyeing pasta in a rainbow of vibrant colors, children will enjoy creating collages and mosaics, stringing them into necklaces, and creating a variety of other crafts. Pour 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol into each bowl.

Add 10 drops of food coloring into each bowl. Use 10 drops of the same color or mix primary colors to make new shades.

Place some pasta in the solution, adding just enough so the pasta is covered by the liquid.

Stir the pasta gently with a spoon for about five seconds.

Remove the pasta from the liquid with a spoon.
