Scary Halloween Costume With Your Own Clothes
Halloween is a good time to get into the spirit of the holiday and dress up like a kid again. Although some people enjoy doing elaborate and expensive costumes for Halloween, others prefer to join in the fun without spending hours or dollars. You can create a Halloween costume out of clothes from your own closet along with a few accessories. Look at your clothing objectively and use a little imagination to hold your own in any costume contest.

1
Pair a black dress with black tights and black shoes. Paint your face green and carry a broom to instantly become a witch.
-
2
Wear a white shirt and white pants underneath a sheet. Cut out holes for your eyes and arms to become a ghost. You can cinch the sheet in and secure with a white string loosely around the neck area if you have trouble with the sheet slipping.

3
Find a long-sleeved plain black shirt and pair it with plain black pants. Cute bones out of white paper and tape them to your clothes to make yourself into a skeleton. Paint your face white and put dark circles around the eyes and nose for added effect.
-
4
Put on black pants with a formal white button-down shirt. Slick your hair back and paint your face gray with blood dripping from the corner of your mouth. Add some plastic pointy teeth and you are a vampire. Wearing a black cape finishes off this ensemble best. If you don't have access to one, you can use a remnant of black cloth and fasten it around your neck.

5
Shred the sleeves and hems of some old clothes that you never wear anymore. Paint your face slightly green and add some cuts and shadows under your eyes. Mess up your hair and you make the perfect zombie.
