      Register for an account at AnyMeeting (see Resources). This platform is robust, providing conference call and recording capability as well as space for 200 attendees, and because it if free, you can offer your webinar at no cost.

      Click the link in the verification email you receive and log in to your free webinar account. Locate the bold blue link midpage; click it to download and install the "screen sharing plug-in."

      Find the gray "Schedule a Webinar" button on the left and click it to open the "Create Email Invitation" form. Enter the title, date and time of your webinar and then the email addresses of your invitees. Type a message to your guests; remember to tell them your webinar is free. Select your "Audio Preference" and click the "Schedule Webinar" button. The system will save your scheduling information and send your invitations.

      Prepare for your webinar. List and order the documents, PowerPoints, charts, etc., you intend to present and outline what you will say. Collate the visual with the verbal and run through your presentation. Time yourself; consider whether the webinar will be interactive and determine if you are within the time limit. Hone the presentation as necessary; repeat the run-through process until you are satisfied with both the timing and the content.

      Log in to AnyMeeting at the time you have scheduled to do your free webinar and click the "Start Webinar Now" button. Enter the "Title" of your webinar and the email address of your invitees and type a reminder message in the dialogue box that opens. Click "Start Webinar" in the lower left corner to send your email and open the free webinar control panel. A pop-up box that asks "Would you like to start the meeting now?" appears over the control panel. Click "Yes" and do your free webinar.

  • Complete your public profile on AnyMeeting; this will allow potential clients to learn about your background as well as upcoming free webinar events.
