How to Upgrade Using AT&T
Every two years AT&T customers are eligible for a mobile phone upgrade after their contracts run out. This means the customer can renew the contract, change her plan and purchase a new phone at a lower rate. From time to time AT&T lets customers upgrade before the contract expires to get a new phone. This is done with a contract extension. Upgrades are completed online or at an AT&T store.
