The Bowflex home gym is a piece of exercise equipment that allows users to workout in various ways that would often take many different pieces of equipment to achieve. The Bowflex gym combines many of these devices into one large machine to help save space. If you are moving or have another reason to disassemble your Bowflex, there is a systematic way to do that.

Unscrew the ball that holds the cables in place and unhook the cables from the Bowflex.

Pull out the pop-pin located under the seat and pull out the leg extension. Remove the leg extension pin from the joints on the leg extension and remove the foam rollers. Remove both the roller tube and the pivot tube on the lower portion of the leg extension so that you may remove all foam tubes.

Pull out the locking pin located on the base of the device behind the seat pad. Pull off the seat pad. Use your Allen wrench to unscrew the screws on the bottom of the seat pad, which will allow you to take the pad off the bracket.

Remove locking pin and pull the back pad off the device. Use your wrench to unscrew the screws on the back of the pad to remove the pad from the bracket.

Slide a screwdriver through each of the pulley’s springs and unscrew them from their stabilizers. Pull off the pulleys and springs and remove the hook bolts that were holding them in place.

Use your wrench to unscrew the two cord hooks along the main frame of the device. These are the two hooks that your cord was wrapped around when the device was assembled. Remove these hooks and the pins holding them in place.

Unscrew the screws holding the seat tube cap in place and remove it from the device. The seat tube cap is the end "extension" that was under your seat.

Remove the four screws found along the seat tube and remove them so that you can pull the seat tube off. The seat tube is the long tube that you just removed the cap from during the last step.

Remove the two screws holding the seat support plates in place and unhook the support plates.

Use your wrench to remove the four screws on the outside of the top cover. Pull the top cover off of the device.

Remove the two cam holders in the top unit of the device. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove them from the device. The cam holders are two cylinder-like pieces located under the cover you took off during the last step.

Remove the screws holding the SpiraFlexes in place and pull the SpiraFlexes off the device. The SpiraFlexes are the two exterior disks near the top portion of the device.

Loosen the tension screws located on the inside of the device in reverse numerical order.

Slide the main bar out from the cams. If you are unable to move the bar, all the tension screws have not been loosened.

Remove the bolt holding the balance platform. This is the platform on the floor that was under the seat.

Remove the six screws from the plate of the balance platform and remove the platform. Pull the plastic caps off of this piece.

Remove the five bolts on the joint of this piece to remove the left and right stabilizer along with the seat support.

Remove the two bolts from the back of the remaining bracket to remove the rear stabilizer.

Remove the two screws on the back stabilizer to remove the wheels.
