How to Fix Aweber Form Width

AWeber Communications, an email marketing service provider, allows its customers to add opt-in forms to pages of their website to help to turn website visitors into regular visitors or customers. AWeber form widths can be fixed or adjusted to accommodate the theme or design of your website. The AWeber Web form generator can be used to fix the width of newly created forms as well as make any adjustments to existing forms.

Instructions

  1. Adjust the Width of an Existing Form

      Sign in to your AWeber account (see Resources).

      Select the "Web Form" tab from the navigation menu. From the list of your previously created forms, choose the form you would like to adjust.

      Enter the exact width of your form in pixels in the "Width" input box located under the templates.

      Click the "Save Web Form" button.

      Click the "I Will Install My Form" button to generate the HTML code for your form. Copy the code and paste it to Notepad text editor for use later.

      Open your website's HTML editor on the page where you would like to add your opt-in form. Copy the code from Notepad. Paste it to your HTML editor, then click "Save."

    Create a New Form

      Sign in to your AWeber account (see Resources).

      Select the "Web Form" tab from the navigation menu. To create a new form, click the green "Create Web Form" button.

      Select the template that matches your site design by clicking on the desired template. Choose a color scheme, and then click "Load Template."

      Enter the exact width of your form in pixels in the "Width" input box located under the templates.

      Select the "Edit Header" tab, and then enter the text you would like to appear in the header of your form. Click the "Go to step 2" button located below.

      Enter a name for your form in the "Form Name" field provided.

      Choose where your subscribers go after they fill out your form from the drop-down menu in the "Thank You Page" field. Click the "Save Web Form" button, then click the "Go to Step 3" button.

      Click the "I Will Install My Form" button to generate the HTML code for your form. Copy the code and paste it to the Notepad text editor for use later.
