Wooden Heart Ornament

Paint a wooden heart with red craft paint. Allow it to dry completely.

Cut a wallet-size photograph into a heart shape that is the same size as the wooden heart.

Use craft glue to glue the picture onto one side of the wooden heart.

Write the date and the name of the person in the picture on the back of the ornament with a marker.

Cut a 3-inch piece of ribbon and glue both of its ends to the back of the ornament, creating a looped ornament hanger.
Pasta Wreath Ornament

Cut a circle out of a piece of poster board and cut a smaller circle in the center of it to create a ring shape. The picture will be placed behind the smaller circle, so make your circle sizes proportional to the size of the picture. Cut another wreath shape the same size as the first.

Paint one side of both of the poster board wreath shapes with green acrylic paint. Allow them to dry completely. Spray paint your pasta bowties red. The pasta will be used as decorations for your wreath.

Glue the pasta onto the painted side of one piece of your poster board. Glue the picture onto the back of the decorated piece of poster board so that the picture shows through the front of it. Glue the other poster board wreath shape onto the back of the picture so that the green paint faces out.

Cut a piece of ribbon about 3 inches long and glue its ends to the back of the ornament to create an ornament hanger.
