Facebook groups that violate Facebook's terms of service will be removed if flagged by another user.

The Facebook Groups feature allows Facebook users to create groups that other users can join to show their support. Although Facebook attempts to moderate these groups to ensure that there are no offensive or illegal groups, the sheer number groups created on a daily basis ensures that some slip through the cracks unnoticed. A normal Facebook user does not have the power to remove an offensive, illegal or otherwise negative Facebook group, but you can ensure that the group is removed from Facebook by reporting the page in a few simple steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the computer's Web browser and navigate to the Facebook login page. Type your Facebook account email address and password in the spaces provided and click the "Login" button to log in to your Facebook account.

    • 2

Click the "Search" bar at the top of the Facebook homepage and type the name of the Facebook group you want to flag. Click on the group from the list of search results to navigate to the group's Facebook page.

    • 3

Scroll down to the bottom of the Facebook group's Wall and click the "Report Group" link. The Facebook group will now be flagged and reported to Facebook's moderators. If Facebook finds that the group is in violation of Facebook's terms of use, the group will be removed.
