How to Tag Your Partner in "WWF No Mercy"

The Nintendo 64 game, "WWF No Mercy," features a lot of multiple player match types, such as a standard tag team match, ladder matches, table matches, steel cage matches, a tag team King of the Ring and a tag team Iron Man match. The key to winning these matches is tagging in at the just the right time, but the wrestler placement during the tag is equally important to making it successful and transitioning to the next wrestler.

Instructions

    • 1

Walk over to the corner toward your partner with the analog stick.

    • 2

Move any weapons that are blocking the corner.

    • 3

Stand closest to the rope that your opponent stands on. Press the "C-Up" yellow button to tag in your opponent.

    • 4

Hold the analog stick and move it toward your partner if the tag does not work. Sometimes, a glitch may occur and your wrestler could exit the ring or pick up a surrounding weapon.

    • 5

Press the "R" button to switch to control the active wrestler. Press the "L" button to switch back to the inactive wrestler.

Tips & Warnings

  • If an opponent lies on the ground near your partner, the "C-Up" button will also pick him up. Slide the wrestler between the opponent and your partner to make the tag.

  • Do not press "C-Up" too many times or it could miss the tag and cause your wrestler to climb out of the ring. Do not press "C-Up" while running or the tags will be inconsistent.
