How to Freeze Dry Scrambled Eggs
You can freeze dry a wide variety of foods, both raw and cooked. Freeze drying is a process of food preservation. Freeze-dried foods can last for up to one year or even longer. Many companies sell freeze-dried scrambled eggs to campers and survivalists. All you have to do is defrost and add hot or cold water and the eggs are ready. Cook the scrambled eggs using your favorite recipe. Let the food cool.

Place the scrambled eggs onto a large cookie sheet. Separate the individual portions so they don't touch.

Put the cookie sheet onto a rack in the freezer.

Leave the scrambled eggs in the freezer for up to one week or until the eggs freeze completely.

Remove the frozen scrambled eggs from the freezer. Place each individual portion into its own resealable freezer bag. Squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing the bags.

Place the bags with the freeze-dried scrambled eggs back into the freezer.

Thaw or defrost the freeze-dried eggs before using.
