How to Get Neocash on Neopets
Neopets is a virtual gaming and social networking site that creates an interactive world for children to design, care for and play with four virtual pets. Members compete for Neopoints by playing hundreds of games or completing tasks in the Neopia world. Neopoints are redeemed for food and supplies at virtual Neopet shops. The secondary currency, Neocash, can be used to purchase Neopet and avatar specialty items on the site's virtual NC Mall. Unlike Neopoints, Neocash must be bought with real-life money, from payment through PayPal, credit card or prepaid card.

Sign in to your Neopets member account from the upper right corner of the homepage. You must be logged into your account to purchase Neocash.

Hover your cursor over the "NC Mall" link on the homepage toolbar. In the drop-down menu, select "Get Neocash."

Choose a Neocash package. As of 2011, the 500 NC can be purchased for $5, 1,000 NC for $10, 3,000 for $30 and 5,500 for $50. To see the pricing packages in Canadian, click on the "change location" icon at the bottom of the page.

Click "next" to enter your payment information. You can use PayPal, Visa or MasterCard to make an online purchase. Confirm your personal and billing information to submit the payment.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not have a PayPal account or credit card, Neocash prepaid cards can be purchased in the following U.S. stores: Target, CVS, 7-Eleven, Duane Reade, Toys "R" Us, Rite Aid, Blockbuster, F.Y.E. and various grocery markets. In Canada, Neocash prepaid cards are available in Shoppers Drug Mart, 7-Eleven, Best Buy and Future Shop.
The exchange rate for neocash prepaid cardsis $1 American or Canadian for 100 neocash. (see ref 3)
Neocash pre-paid cards must be redeemed online. To redeem your neocash card, sign into your Neopets account, click on the "NC Mall" link in the toolbar and select "redeem neocash card" in the drop-down. Enter in the code on the card to transfer the amount on the card into your Neopets account. (see pe)
All Neocash purchases are nonrefundable.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase Neocash through a PayPal account or Visa or MasterCard credit card. There is no age restriction on Neocash prepaid cards.
