How to Write a Recommendation for a Dedicated Person
Being asked to write a letter of recommendation for a dedicated employee or student is a great honor. This person has worked to impress you and now it's your turn to return the favor. The information included in your letter of recommendation might vary according to where it is going, so make sure to ask whether he needs it for a job, school or another reason. Take some time to think about what you plan to say in the letter before you write it, as it can sometimes be difficult to remember everything you would like to say from memory.

1
Start the letter by explaining how you know the person that you're writing the letter about in the first paragraph. If the two of you currently work together, state that, and the position that you hold at the company. If you do not work together anymore, state the name of the company that you worked for together, both of your job titles and the dates that you worked together. If you are a professor and the person the letter is about was one of your students, explain that and include the name of the school you are employed by and the subject that you teach.

2
Praise him in the next paragraph (or two, if you have a lot to say). Explain his daily responsibilities at work, highlighting the areas where he has shown an impressive amount of dedication, if you are a coworker. Discuss her dedication to learning and doing well in your class, if you are a professor. Explain some of the skills that he possessed that make him such a standout employee or student.

End the final paragraph by offering to discuss him in more detail if the reader needs anymore information, if you are willing to do this. Include your phone number, email address or both so that the reader can get in contact with you directly.
