It's relatively easy to do if you follow a few simple steps - going through it step by step will help you get the drawing right.

Instructions

    • 1

Start by drawing the chimney. Create a long rectangle for the chimney. Draw in smaller rectangles inside the larger rectangle to make the bricks.

    • 2

Draw a bulbous circle coming out of the chimney. This is Santa's belly. Make a few vertical pencil strokes where the circle meets the chimney to make it look like he's fitting tightly into the chimney.

    • 3

Create a smaller circle that sits on top of the larger circle. This circle will be Santa's head. Add a triangle beard, a nose, eyes and a Santa Claus hat. His eye's should be squinted and his face red, as if he's straining to get out of the chimney.

    • 4

Make arms for the stuck Santa Claus. He should be pushing up against the top of the chimney where his belly is stuck.

    • 5

Add details to the drawing. Add fluffy trim around the brim of the hat, around the ends of his sleeves, and give Santa a collar and buttons on his shirt. Don't forget to add the ball on the tip of his hat.
