How to Store Parsley Pesto
Pesto sauce is traditionally made with fresh basil leaves but, if you are in a pinch, fresh parsley makes a tasty and healthy substitute. The flat, green variety is best for pesto as it blends more smoothly than curly parsley. Loaded with vitamins K, C and A, just 2 tbsp. of this vegetable will give you a good burst of nutrition. Originally grown in the Mediterranean, Italian flat parsley and the curly variety are readily available at farmers' markets and grocery stores around the world. Does this Spark an idea?
