How to Save in "BoycottAdvance"

BoycottAdvance is a Gameboy Advance emulator for the Mac operating system. With Boycott, a user can download emulator files, which allow him to play his favorite Gameboy Advance games on the computer. When using an emulator such as this, the normal in-game save features are not available, however. To save your game, you must use a system found in the Boycott Advance emulator called "Freezing." BoycottAdvance will not play classic Gameboy games, just those made specifically for the Gameboy Advance.

  • Click on the "Options" menu when you have reached a point in the game that you would like to save.

  • Click on "Freeze Game Scene."

  • Type the name under which you want to save the game in the field provided. Select the location for the saved game by clicking on the drop-down menu.

  • Click on "Save."
