How to Get Zumba Certified in the Humble, Texas Area
Zumba is a fast-growing new exercise program based on Latin dance moves and music. Classes are available in many cities in the Houston area, including Humble. Most classes take place at local fitness or recreation centers, but several churches and community centers in the area also host Zumba classes. You must complete an official Zumba training program to become certified, no matter where you want to teach. Different levels of certification are offered; they are based on the age groups and fitness levels you want to teach.

Tips & Warnings
Once certified, you may choose to join the Zumba Instructor Network, or ZIN. Members pay a monthly fee for access to materials, Zumba attire, additional training and assistance and suggested choreography for routines.
All instructors must develop their own routines and set them to music. Routines must incorporate both Latin dance music and moves and basic fitness exercises moves. Prepare and learn these routines before offering a class. Periodically develop and choreograph new routines to keep it interesting for your students.
If you are offering classes in a church, private residence or community center, you may need to provide your own sound system. Traditional fitness centers and dance studios typically already have this available for you to use during your classes.
